Mr. Munroe also serves as Board Advisor for Lend Street Financial, Inc a lending platform that helps distressed consumers restructure debt and enable investors to buy the debt from creditors at a discount.

Here is just a glimpse into what Rich Munroe shared on the facets of being a middle market business leader:

“I got started in the debt buying business in the late 80s, early 90s bidding on credit card debt at RTC auctions in 2002. I, along with a partner, started my own business. Ten years ago I got involved with the debt buying association and eventually became its president. During this time I had the opportunity to work different state attorneys general, regulators and CFPB officials.”

“The organizational capabilities I used to purchase credit card debt were very similar to starting tan organization to purchase tax liens. I had to seek out the players, experience and knowledge of the laws and regulations. As with most businesses, developing the right relationships is key. These networks and relationships helped me to find the knowledge, resources and capital needed to compete.”
