Greg Paulo has 25 years of operational and sales experience in the Accounts Receivable Management Industry. Most recently, Greg worked at Navient as a Sr. Director managing the Campus, State and Municipal collection sales teams.
Prior to Navient, Greg was President of Redline Recovery Services, a mid-sized ARM firm providing accounts receivable management services in the financial, student loan, mortgage and auto industries.
Greg’s experience and existing relationships will help FLOCK leverage his extensive network to provide flexible portfolio capital to under-served markets. Greg added, “I am very excited about joining Michael and his team at FLOCK Specialty Finance. Flock’s proprietary structure is well positioned in the market to provide a flexible, unique source of portfolio capital to their clients.
Greg graduated from the Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts. He has five children and enjoys playing racquetball, golf and cycling.
Damon has over 25 years of experience in consumer receivables financing, performance, and pricing. Prior to that he worked in revenue management for the airline industry.
His first role in consumer finance began in 1997 with Outsourcing Solutions Inc, at the time one of the largest debt servicing and purchasing conglomerates in the US holding increasing roles with the company until 2008. From 2008 to 2011 he managed pricing and developed predictive analytics for Eltman, Eltman, and Cooper of NY a large purchase of charged off debt and servicer of Dormant Judgements. From 2011 to 2022 Damon was one of the initial team at FLOCK as Chief of Analytics, developing its reporting tools, pricing methodologies, and aiding clients in evaluation of investments. He has underwritten over 10,000 portfolios over the course of his career.
He joined Truist Securities in 2022 overseeing and developing the Truist pricing tool for corporate loans as well as being involved in technology initiatives, and later moved to LendingPoint for FP&A before being recruited back to FLOCK.
Damon earned a BA from The Citadel the Military College of South Carolina in 1993. He and his wife Louisa (Lulu) enjoy tennis, golf, and hiking. They have 3 sons, all Eagle Scouts. Damon continues to volunteer and mentor to scout leaders in the Atlanta area.
Jeff Shaver has over 25 years of experience as a trusted finance and operations leader, strategic partner, and key decision maker. His background includes in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry with a proficiency across corporate banking, credit, and capital markets.
Prior to joining FLOCK Specialty Finance in December 2022, Jeff spent 4 years as the CFO of a middle market manufacturing and distribution business. In this role, he served as a hands-on transformation advocate and strategic advisor that improved financial performance, reformed operations, optimized efficiencies, introduced automation and transparency, and ultimately increased value. In addition, he worked as a CFO services consultant and advisor to various organizations where he functioned as a key finance and thought leader.
Earlier in his career, Jeff pursued a successful career in corporate finance and investment banking. He had a strong track record as an investment and corporate banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as well as Bank of America serving as a partner to key stakeholders in middle market and large corporate entities spanning a wide range of industries including extensive coverage of the financial services sector. It was during this time that he developed a keen understanding of finance companies and fintech businesses. After his banking career, he held an important role as a finance leader for a private equity owned business services and technology company.
Jeff earned his BBA and MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, concentrating in corporate finance and management information systems.
